Real Help for Patients with Lyme Disease

People who come to LifeWorks with Lyme disease get better. We are experts in treating this disease. This is so much so, that I was asked to speak to the American Academy of Ozone Therapy annual meeting last month and present our results. For most patients, doing a program which does not include conventional antibiotics, (which in my experience as an Infectious Disease specialist, do not usually result in long term beneficial results), get restored vitality within about two months. If you are suffering, or know someone who is, give us a try. At LifeWorks, we help people get better. Naturally.

What Is I-Therm Treatment?

Heating the body or parts of the body to induce healing is a practice that has been around for hundreds of years, and Molecular Hyperthermia Therapy (I-Therm) is among the newer forms of this.

I-Therm promotes hyperthermia, a form of heat treatment, which in turn increases blood flow and enhances the efficient delivery of oxygen, nutrients and low-dose chemotherapy (IPT). I-Therm is a non-invasive treatment method that can accelerate the healing process.

Heat therapy began in ancient times when hot water from thermal springs, mud baths and hot steam from volcanic caves were utilized for healing. Many Greek and Roman physicians agreed that increasing a body’s temperature could fight even the most critical of diseases, including cancer. Greek philosopher Parmenides was deeply convinced of the effectiveness of hyperthermia and said, “Give me the power to produce fever and I will cure all diseases”.

In the 19th century, New York physician, William Coley, successfully administered toxins on his cancer patients to induce fever and elevate their temperatures to begin the healing process. In the late 70’s, U.S. trials of hyperthermia showed that when combined with radiation, the results in cancer patients were more successful that with radiation alone. Currently, hyperthermia is becoming more utilized in the United States, with I-Therm treatment being an increasingly popular choice.

How Does I-Therm Treatment Work?

When cells in the body are exposed to higher than normal temperatures, changes take place inside the cells. Higher temperatures can make the cells more likely to be affected by other treatments such as low-dose chemotherapy. I-Therm increases blood flow to the specific warmed area, which utilizes the body’s natural response to heat to provide the desired therapeutic effect.

At LifeWorks Wellness Center, patients lay on a comfortable bed and heated pads are positioned around the area to be treated. The I-Therm produces a shortwave electromagnetic field at the optimized frequency to induce hyperthermia in targeted tissues up to 15 cm (6 in) beneath the skin. Optimal therapeutic warming temperatures are achieved within 8 minutes which are maintained for the duration of treatment. Because this therapy is very localized it can address cancer in specific areas of the body, such as bladder, breast, liver, prostate and many more.

What Are the Main Benefits of I-Therm Treatments?

  • Alleviates pain and accelerates healing.
  • Increases nutrients and oxygen to the heated region.
  • Provides rapid neurologic rehabilitation.
  • Enhances the effectiveness of traditional cancer treatments.

Where to find I-Therm for Cancer

LifeWorks Wellness Center is long recognized as one of the foremost natural health clinics in the U.S. and we have been offering I-Therm treatments as part of our cancer protocol for some time. Patients fly in from all over the world because they simply can’t find clinics offering alternative cancer treatments and natural medicine for cancer where they live.

We have helped many patients regain their health and we would love to help you, too. To become a patient or for more information feel free to call Tamora at (727) 466-6789.

New Solutions to Chronic Infections and Viruses

LifeWorks Wellness Center is now offering a protocol which combines ozone therapy with photon light therapy to offer relief to patients who suffer from chronic infections and viruses.

Conditions which patients have previously felt they would have to “live with” can be greatly relieved with this combination of therapies. Hepatitis B and C, Lyme disease, herpes virus, chronic fatigue, rheumatoid arthritis and staph infections are all responding well to this new protocol.

LifeWorks’ co-founder and Medical Director, Dr. David Minkoff, explains, “We are finding that using ozone therapy with photon light can really be effective in treating viral and bacterial infections and autoimmune disease. Patients are reporting significant improvements in their well-being and are enjoying the simplicity of the procedure. It is a great addition to our already successful range of ozone therapies.”

About Dr. David Minkoff, Medical Director

Dr. David Minkoff graduated from the University of Wisconsin Medical School in 1974 and was elected to the “Phi Beta Kappa” of medical schools, the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honors Medical Fraternity for very high academic achievement. He then completed both a Pediatric Residency and a Fellowship in Infectious Disease at the University of California at San Diego. He worked at the University of California and Children’s Hospitals in San Diego as an attending physician in infectious disease while conducting original research on Ribaviron, a broad spectrum anti-viral agent to fight disease. He also co-directed a neo-natal intensive care unit and worked in emergency medicine. In 1992, Dr. Minkoff’s wife Sue, a Registered Nurse, became interested in nutrition and health and began to go to lectures from some of the experts in the field. At the time, Dr. Minkoff was pretty fixed in his view of traditional medicine and it took a lot of convincing to get him to come to one of these lectures. After hearing Dr. Jeffrey Bland speak, Dr. Minkoff had a eureka moment and began pursuing the alternative field with a vengeance. Based on this new knowledge Dr. Minkoff and his wife set up a small clinic in 1997 to help some friends with their medical problems. What began as an experiment blossomed into Lifeworks Wellness Center, one of the most successful clinics for complementary medicine in the United States. In the process, he gained expertise in Biological medicine, integrative oncology, heavy metal detoxification, anti-aging medicine, hormone replacement therapy, functional medicine, energy medicine, neural and prolotherapy, homeopathy, and optimum nutrition. He studied under the masters in each of these disciplines until he became an expert in his own right. Dr. Minkoff is one of the most in-demand speakers in the field and wrote an Amazon best-selling book called The Search For The Perfect Protein. The demand for the products and protocols he discovered became a catalyst for founding BodyHealth.Com, a nutrition company that now manufactures and distributes cutting-edge nutritional solutions for the many health problems of today. Dr. Minkoff writes two free online newsletters, “The Optimum Health Report” and ”The BodyHealth Fitness Newsletter”, to help others learn about optimum health and fitness. Dr. Minkoff is an avid athlete himself and has completed 43 Ironman Triathlons. To keep his fitness maximal, he lives the lifestyle he teaches to others and tries to set an example for others, so they can enjoy a life free of pain and full of energy.
