Dr. Minkoff,
Thank you so much for your kindness and compassion. LifeWorks is truly a haven for hope and healing to so many! I have met so many people here that are suffering – I have cried with them, prayed with them, held them in my arms. I was always terrified of illness and tried to live my life so I would never be ill; but God had other plans for me. I hope to use this to help others through their own healing journey and maybe someday be a future employee (or volunteer) at LifeWorks J Maybe become a beacon of hope for someone.
Please know that Team D loves everyone at LifeWorks. You, your staff and patients will always be in our daily prayers.
My next goal is to get out running again. It was my passion and joy to run with my family. Besides, Chris & Rya Lauber really miss us at all their races!! Two marathons were definitely enough for me, but looking forward to half marathon #33!
