LifeWorks Wellness Center is proud to work with Dr. George Springer at our fibromyalgia treatment center, which offers cutting edge therapies for many chronic conditions.
Dr. Springer has been an integral part of the team for more than 13 years and over that time he has alleviated the suffering of many fibromyalgia patients, and has practiced integrative medicine for 35 years.
George Springer is a Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.), a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine (N.M.D.) and he is also board certified in clinical nutrition (D.C.B.C.N.). He is also a past associate professor of Logan University in the area of gastroenterology and endocrinology.
Testing & Diagnostics
Exhaustion and unexplained pain are just two of the common symptoms of fibromyalgia and Dr. Springer believes that it is essential to get to the root cause of why the patient is displaying symptoms.
A functional evaluation of the patient will be performed so that Dr. Springer can make an informed diagnosis. He will look for many causative factors including adrenal function, thyroid issues, chronic virus, infection and more.
Effective Natural Treatments
Since the causes of fibromyalgia are often multi-factorial and vary in different individuals, the programs which Dr. Springer writes are individualized based on what the patient needs. The causes of chronic fatigue vary so much from person to person that no one program will fix all CFS patients.
Fibromyalgia can be a very painful, exhausting condition but with the thorough evaluation and specific programs which Dr. Springer offers, patients can find lasting relief and can begin to resume a normal life again.

Chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS) is recognized by Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), as a defined clinical condition. CFS usually manifests as extreme tiredness or fatigue which cannot be remedied with sleep. Symptoms often intensify after physical exertion and a person with CFS is usually very inhibited in the activities they can undertake.Chronic Fatigue Syndrome & Fibromyalgia
Chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS) and fibromyalgia are separate conditions but they share a common symptom which is extreme fatigue. For this reason, the two conditions are often present at the same time. Poor quality sleep is often the underlying cause of fibromyalgia and improving sleep is often the starting point in fibromyalgia treatment.
