When my wife and I founded LifeWorks Wellness Center in 1997, we dreamt of having the biggest alternative medical clinic in the world, treating patients with a variety of conditions. Our perseverance and hard work have paid off and this year we added two additional Medical Doctors to our staff. We are hoping to expand into a larger building in 2023 to accommodate our growing clinic so we can offer the best therapies to all our patients from our exceptionally qualified staff.
I would like to take this time to introduce you to our new Doctors.

Dr. Griselle Figueredo or Dr. G. as she likes to be known, is board-certified in family medicine and graduated from the Central University of Venezuela, Caracas in 1988. In 1990, she attended the University of Tennessee in Memphis, where she completed five years of Neuroscience research. In 1999, she completed the Family Medicine Residency at the University of Tennessee at Memphis.
In 2016, Dr. G. completed her fellowship in antiaging and functional medicine by the American Academy of Antiaging. She also attended several courses in ozonotherapy, intravenous vitamin C and other vitamins and minerals, among others.
In 2017, Dr. G. opened a functional medicine office in Memphis with the purpose to change the face of healthcare by spending more time with patients looking for the underlying causes of disease instead of just putting a bandage on the problem and prescribing only medications.
In 2018, Dr. G moved to Tampa and in 2022 we were able to entice her to join our ever growing clinic and we are happy to have her as part of the LifeWorks family.

Dr. Neena Iyer earned her medical degree in 2019 from the University of Michigan Medical School. Motivated to help her patients recover from chronic illness, she pursued specialty training and became board-certified in Internal Medicine. She is a member of the multidisciplinary cancer treatment team at LifeWorks Wellness Center.
Dr. Iyer worked at University of California, San Diego and Veterans Health Administration in San Diego. Her training focused on integrative medicine and primary care. She is a certified ozone therapy and prolozone practitioner through the American Academy of Ozonotherapy. Dr. Iyer has conducted research on digestive health, and published peer-reviewed articles on gastroesophageal reflux disease.
Prior to commencing medical school, Dr. Iyer sought out a rigorous medical education, graduating summa cum laude from Oakland University in 2014 with a bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Diagnostic and Therapeutic Sciences. She then completed an intensive post-baccalaureate medical laboratory internship at Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan.
Both Dr. G. and Dr. Iyer are great assets to LifeWorks and are dedicated to using their knowledge of functional/alternative medicine for all your healthcare needs. They are accepting new patients, so please call to schedule an appointment. I highly recommend them both.
Have a great week.
Dr. David I Minkoff, MD
