The biggest killer diseases that have the most drastic effect on people are heart attacks, cancer and Alzheimer’s. Underlying each of them is often blood sugar dysregulation.
Blood sugar dysregulation, say diabetes and obesity, is from overfeeding and eating excess of the wrong foods. Organic meat, fish, eggs, green and red vegetables, and good oils (olive, butter, and the like) will keep you healthy, but processed seed oils, refined carbs, packaged foods, GMOs and glyphosate saturated grains, meats and vegetables will do you in via the pathway of high blood sugar/insulin leading to heart attacks, cancer, and Alzheimer’s.
I am really a fan of monitoring your blood sugar. It’s easy with the Freestyle Libre continuous glucose monitor. You can see what each meal does to your blood sugar and then you’ll know what to eat. That is the key to normalizing your sugar, your weight, and your BMI. It’s a little button that sticks on your arm and sends the results to your smart phone. At the end of the day, you want your average sugar to be under 100.
I am writing prescriptions to anyone that wants one in our practice. At Walgreens it will cost you about $70 per month. After a couple of months, you’ll know what to eat and how to maintain yourself in a healthy state.
The tools of the grim reaper are elevated insulin and blood sugar.
With this knowledge you can live long and well and not be one of his victims.
Have a great week.

What are Peptides?
Peptides are small proteins that are naturally made by our bodies. They serve as messenger molecules which direct cells to perform a certain function. There are about 60 known peptides in the human body and they are naturally found in every cell and tissue. As our body’s age or get sick, the amount of peptides needed to stay in good health can diminish. With recent medical advances, many of these peptides are available for use from compounding pharmacies and about 60 of them are available for clinical use.
What Conditions Can Peptides Treat?
Peptides can be used to treat a wide variety of illnesses or health issues, including:
- Cancer
- Inflammation
- Lyme disease
- Dementia
- Insomnia
- Fibromyalgia
- Joint Injury
- Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis
- Neurodegenerative diseases (Parkinson’s, Multiple Sclerosis, Etc.)

There are hundreds of websites and companies selling peptides but the quality of these cannot be guaranteed. LifeWorks Wellness Center uses a reputable pharmacy for all of their peptides. Over the next several months, we are going to introduce you to two new peptides in each newsletter. This week we are going to talk about AOD 9604 and BPC-157.
