Did you know that hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) can halt the build-up of plaque on the brain —a key characteristic of Alzheimer’s disease, in a mice model, as per a novel study.
The study, by scientists at Tel Aviv University in Israel, showed that breathing pure oxygen for some time in a pressurized —or hyperbaric—chamber can boost the functioning of the human brain. In animals, the therapy helped fight the build-up of brain plaque.
“I don’t think this can ‘cure’ Alzheimer’s in humans, but it may be able to significantly slow its progression and severity.”
With the data showing that an average 28 year old is already suffering from memory loss wouldn’t it be smart to take care of your brain now? After heart disease and cancer, Alzheimer’s disease is the 3rd leading cause of death.
My wife and I are now doing HBOT to help our brains and I recommend it for you too. Start with 40 sessions – 3-5 times a week. It takes about an hour and 20 minutes and is very relaxing as you can work on your computer or take a nap while you do the “dive.”
We have felt an increase in energy, and faster recovery after our workouts.
And it can increase your telomeres so that you can live longer and healthier.
Try it! Just call and schedule.
Have a great week.
