Here at LifeWorks, we see many cancer patients who come to us hoping we can help them improve their quality and quantity of life.
Two years ago, such a patient arrived. She was 84 years old and had a diagnosis of inoperable stage IV stomach cancer. It had gone into her liver and surrounding organs and because of her age and advanced disease, she was recommended to go home with no treatment by the oncologist who told her that she had a very short time to live. She was not ready to die or give up.
She came to us and with our care, she lived another two happy years with her family.
Here is her testimonial as told by her loving son:
“We want to thank you all at LifeWorks for the amazing good work you’ve done. You have always done the best that can be done, far, far above what normal medical people can do. This has given my mom over 2 years of more life and good life experience, with many, many highlights for her and us. Times we could share, and appreciate and cherish each other. Good quality life!
The last video-sharing phone call with Dr. Minkoff was another high point of awesomeness! Such a great understanding and mom also appreciated his recommendations, and that worked out very well, and mom could stay here with me the whole time and beyond. We are forever grateful for clinics like LifeWorks whose care for patients and families know no bounds.
When you come to LifeWorks, whether for cancer or some other problem, we welcome you as part of our family and we do whatever it takes to help you as much as humanly possible.
If you or a friend are in need, please call us. We can help.
Have a great week,
Dr. David I Minkoff, MD
