Heavy Metal Toxicity
Could Be Ruining Your Health

The dirty little secret in society today is that you are exposed to heavy metals
on a daily basis and they could be causing havoc to your health.

What Is Heavy Metal Toxicity?

Heavy metal toxicity is a term used to describe a condition where a person is tested as having high levels of heavy metals in their body.

Heavy metal toxicity is caused when the build-up of heavy metals such as aluminum, arsenic, cadmium, lead, and mercury disrupts the normal biochemical process in the body. The heavy metals may come from exposure to multiple sources including cookware, fish, soda cans, freeway dust, cosmetics, vaccines and many, many more.

Heavy metal toxicity can contribute to neurological disorders, a variety of degenerative diseases, inflammation, a compromised immune system and auto-immune conditions.

It is also linked to chronic fatigue, memory loss, hypothyroidism, insomnia, unexplained tremors, depression, joint pain and chronic headaches.

What Are The Symptoms of Heavy Metal Toxicity

Symptoms of heavy metal toxicity can vary and unless a practitioner is really informed about the threat to health which heavy metals pose, heavy metal toxicity may be overlooked as the root cause of the condition. Lack of energy, poor circulation, weight-gain, high blood pressure and unexplained aches and pains are some of the symptoms of heavy metal toxicity. Other symptoms of heavy metal toxicity include:

  • Allergies
  • Cold hands and feet
  • Digestive problems
  • Frequent colds and flus
  • Loss of memory
  • Metallic taste in mouth
  • Mood swings
  • Night sweats
  • Parasites
  • Skin problems
  • Sore or receding gums

Why You Should Get Tested for Heavy Metals

Heavy metals have been shown to relentlessly accumulate in human tissue over a lifetime. It is becoming increasingly clear that we are all intoxicated with numerous toxic metals.

High levels of one or more heavy metals can lead to many different conditions from fatigue and headaches, to Alzheimer’s, gastro-intestinal irritation, autism, auto-immunity, neurological conditions, cancers, kidney disease and many more.

The removal of these metals often sets the stage for the body to be able to rapidly heal and overcome chronic conditions.

In an otherwise healthy person, removing this burden can prevent future health issues and can alleviate current minor issues such as lack of energy, headaches, muscle aches/spasms and fatigue.

To protect your health you should know what your heavy metal levels are and if they are high you should take measures to reduce the burden.

What Can Be Done About Heavy Metal Toxicity

We can deterime if you have heavy metal toxicity by a simple urine analysis, which shows the levels of heavy metals in the body.

If metal levels are found to be high, chelation therapy using EDTA (Ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid) will be used.

EDTA is an FDA approved treatment, considered safe and routinely used for this purpose.

Chelation therapy involves getting EDTA by IV drip, along with vitamin C, B complex, magnesium and specific homeopathics.

Normally the practitioner will recommend treatments 2-3 times per week for a total of 10 and then re-evaluate to see if more are needed. Each treatment takes between 30-40 minutes to deliver.

This is a critical step in recovery from many health conditions and it results in greatly improved overall health.

Common Heavy Metals

The most common heavy metals that humans are exposed to are:

  • aluminum
  • arsenic
  • cadmium
  • lead
  • mercury
  • copper
  • nickel
  • chromium
  • iron

A build-up of these common heavy metals can lead to symptoms or non-optimum health.

Where do Heavy Metals Come From

Many people do not realize that they are exposed to heavy metals on a daily basis and are unaware where heavy metals come from. The truth is that heavy metals often come from the most innocent-looking sources, from everyday cookware to lipsticks to children’s toys. Being aware of where heavy metals come from is an important step in avoiding them. Here are some of the most common heavy metals and their sources:

Aluminum: Aluminum is found in soda cans, cookware, deodorants, automobile exhaust, dental amalgams and vaccinations.

Arsenic: Arsenic is present in some drinking water, pesticides, mushrooms, pressure-treated lumber and poultry.

Cadmium: The main source of cadmium is cigarette smoke but it is also present in coffee, steel cooking pans, fertilizers, batteries, copper refineries, pesticides and processed foods.

Copper: Copper is found in hot tubs, swimming pool chemicals, cookware, jewelry, piping, fungicides, dietary supplements and multi-vitamins/mineral.

Lead: Lead is found in dyes, airplane fuel, lead based paint, old plumbing, tobacco smoke, textiles, and car batteries.

Mercury: One main source is mercury amalgam fillings which leak into the mouth and then into the body. Other sources include, fish (especially tuna), cosmetics, plastics, fabric softeners, floor waxes/polishes, tattoos, hair dyes and batteries.
