“Cancer Prevention: Better Than Cure”

Dr. Minkoff will be hosting a Seminar at Nature’s Food Patch

Cancer can be a brutal condition and almost everyone dreads being diagnosed with the “Big C”. But how many of us take steps to prevent cancer occurring? What might those steps entail? Dr. Minkoff will discuss the nature of cancer, how and why it occurs and what can be done on an on-going basis to prevent the illness from manifesting.

Seating is limited.

You MUST sign up for this seminar at Customer Care
or call (727) 443-6703.

Water and Iodine? Is There a Connection?

jenniferMany of us have this childhood fantasy that the mainstream physicians will take care of our long term health problems. Forgetting that the physicians of today are trained to dispense the pill to get rid of the symptom. C’mon, let’s awaken to the effects of the pills itself.

If your car has a flat tire, 9 times out of 10 you will get a new tire, not patch it up. Why do we treat our bodies differently? Well, let’s not patch it up. Let’s repair the one we have!

I lectured about 6 months ago on Environmental Toxicities. Ironically, it was the smallest attendance I ever had. Think about it. If our bodies are our number one vehicle in life, what would air and water be to this car!!! Gas, right!

So, this leads me to the topic of this article. (Finally!)

A new British study found that pregnant women’s exposure to a rocket fuel which is a common contaminant of drinking water, is harmful to developing brains of fetuses. It also contaminates millions of Americans. The rocket fuel interferes with T4, a thyroid hormone which is important in fetal brain development.

Patient Testimonial

“Dear Dr M,
I am doing home ozone every day along with coffee enemas for detox. Also purchased me a Vibe Plate from Bullet Proof. Looks like the double 17 day protocol was the ticket.

HERE’S THE GOOD PART!!!

I am feeling better and STRONGER each day.

This is awesome. I think we have flipped the immune switch back on.

Thanks again for all you do. I know it’s hard sometimes to realize how important each of us are, but you guys there at the clinic are really changing people’s lives.

With all my gratitude.” -TR

Insomnia

Sleep gives our minds a chance to rest and our bodies the opportunity to repair itself.  Without enough sleep, we feel irritable and inefficient.  We aren’t able to concentrate fully on our daily tasks.  Each individual needs a different amount of sleep, but most people do best with 8-9 hours per night.  The amount of sleep we need to revitalize and function efficiently during the day also changes as we grow older.  Young babies sleep for up to 18 hours each day.  The older we get, we usually only sleep around 7 hours a night.  We also take longer to get to sleep in the first place and wake up more often during the night.

These are normal sleep patterns that alter as we progress through life.  Insomniacs, on the other hand, have difficulty falling asleep most nights.  They wake frequently and are restless throughout the night.  They often wake early only to feel tired during the day.  The effects of a few broken nights are not serious.  However, for insomniacs, sleeplessness can last years.  They frequently find themselves in the relentless, vicious circle of overtiredness.  They worry so much about the need for sleep that they cannot relax.

At LifeWorks we have treated hundreds of patients with sleep problems.  We can help you get to sleep and get a good night’s rest.
