Has the “collagen protein is the greatest thing since sliced bread” gotten to you?
If so think again. It won’t hurt you but it’s not what you have been told.
I did a little video explaining this and the bottom line is that it’s quite mediocre. Seventy two percent of the collagen will be turned into sugar and not used as a precursor to proteins at all. You’re better off with a couple eggs, some roast beef or a chicken leg.
