Well Women Care & Specials. Are your hormones where they should be? – Optimum Health Report #365

A well woman exam is an opportunity to ask any questions about issues which may be causing you concern

Dear All,

Sometimes less is more.

The Meridian Health Analysis (MHA) evaluates the residuals of toxins, infections, and drugs in your body. These residues accumulate in the tissues and cause disturbances in the nerve communication system which leads to various dysfunctions such as altered blood pressure, rashes, body odors or fatigue. These little particles (less) cause large (more) disturbances. After the analysis we are able to make a homeopathic remedy (less) that discharges these residues so they are no longer in the body and no longer alter the body’s natural balance (more). It’s quite remarkable. In my own case it handled my hay fever.

If you’ve never had it done, I recommend it. It is a part of our overall body evaluation.

We aim to restore health and performance.

We know how to do it. Call us.

Have a great week.

Well Woman Care

Do you feel like your health just isn’t what it could be?

Maybe you are more tired than you used to be, can’t eat what you used to and have put on weight consistently year after year.  There are a host of women’s health issues that arise as you go through life that can inhibit living a full and productive life.

A Well Woman Exam is an opportunity to ask any questions about issues which may be causing you concern, from fertility to cancer signs to inherited disorders.  It should provide you with an annual report on your overall state of health, and not just give the “ok” to your breasts and reproductive organs.  Identifying minor issues which may have the potential to develop into a serious illness is what a Well Woman Exam should do.

At LifeWorks, a Well Woman exam consists of a pap smear which is designed to detect premalignant and malignant cells in your cervix.  Also included is a pelvic exam which checks the female organs and a manual breast exam which checks for lumps or abnormalities.  We also include a Hemoccult test which looks for blood in the rectum and a body composition analysis which records percentages of: fat, muscle, bone, water, visceral fat, metabolic rate and physique rating.

…I will never go anywhere else for my Well Woman Exam!…

“When I relocated to Florida and needed a Well Woman exam, a colleague recommended LifeWorks. I was genuinely surprised and shocked at how much health detail the session with Sue Morgan covered, and I had test performed that I never even knew existed! Sue took time to explain what each test was for and why it was important. When my results came back there were certain areas that needed improvement with supplementation, but I was greatly relieved that the issues were found before they became debilitating. I will never go anywhere else for my Well Woman Exam!” – KL

About Dr. David Minkoff, Medical Director

Dr. David Minkoff graduated from the University of Wisconsin Medical School in 1974 and was elected to the “Phi Beta Kappa” of medical schools, the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honors Medical Fraternity for very high academic achievement. He then completed both a Pediatric Residency and a Fellowship in Infectious Disease at the University of California at San Diego. He worked at the University of California and Children’s Hospitals in San Diego as an attending physician in infectious disease while conducting original research on Ribaviron, a broad spectrum anti-viral agent to fight disease. He also co-directed a neo-natal intensive care unit and worked in emergency medicine. In 1992, Dr. Minkoff’s wife Sue, a Registered Nurse, became interested in nutrition and health and began to go to lectures from some of the experts in the field. At the time, Dr. Minkoff was pretty fixed in his view of traditional medicine and it took a lot of convincing to get him to come to one of these lectures. After hearing Dr. Jeffrey Bland speak, Dr. Minkoff had a eureka moment and began pursuing the alternative field with a vengeance. Based on this new knowledge Dr. Minkoff and his wife set up a small clinic in 1997 to help some friends with their medical problems. What began as an experiment blossomed into Lifeworks Wellness Center, one of the most successful clinics for complementary medicine in the United States. In the process, he gained expertise in Biological medicine, integrative oncology, heavy metal detoxification, anti-aging medicine, hormone replacement therapy, functional medicine, energy medicine, neural and prolotherapy, homeopathy, and optimum nutrition. He studied under the masters in each of these disciplines until he became an expert in his own right. Dr. Minkoff is one of the most in-demand speakers in the field and wrote an Amazon best-selling book called The Search For The Perfect Protein. The demand for the products and protocols he discovered became a catalyst for founding BodyHealth.Com, a nutrition company that now manufactures and distributes cutting-edge nutritional solutions for the many health problems of today. Dr. Minkoff writes two free online newsletters, “The Optimum Health Report” and ”The BodyHealth Fitness Newsletter”, to help others learn about optimum health and fitness. Dr. Minkoff is an avid athlete himself and has completed 43 Ironman Triathlons. To keep his fitness maximal, he lives the lifestyle he teaches to others and tries to set an example for others, so they can enjoy a life free of pain and full of energy.
