Our Team
David Minkoff, M.D. - Owner/Founder
Dr. David Minkoff graduated from the University of Wisconsin Medical School in 1974 and was elected to the “Phi Beta Kappa” of medical schools, the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honors Medical Fraternity for very high academic achievement. He then completed both a Pediatric Residency and Fellowship in Infectious Disease at the University of California at San Diego. Dr. Minkoff has been a pioneer in integrative and functional medicine, developing unique and effective treatment protocols for a variety of health conditions.
Griselle Figueredo, M.D.
Dr. Griselle Figueredo is board-certified in family medicine and graduated from the Central University of Venezuela, Caracas in 1988. In 2022, Dr. Figueredo (“Dr. G”) started work at LifeWorks Wellness Center, where she finally found her passion, helping others by providing the best care possible to her patients with the integrative medicine focus. She was received extensive training under Dr. David Minkoff on treating all types of different patients and she looks forward to helping you overcome whatever health challenge you may be facing.
Neena Iyer, M.D.
Dr. Neena Iyer earned her medical degree from the prestigious University of Michigan Medical School in 2019. Dr. Iyer has eagerly pursued training in functional medicine and has been mentored by Dr. Minkoff to offer the most cutting-edge alternative medicine therapies. Her passion is to help her patients improve their health using a comprehensive, personalized approach. She is excited to welcome you to LifeWorks Wellness Center and help you achieve optimal health and wellness.
Dawn Frankwick, M.D.
Dr. Dawn Frankwick earned her medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin and has been practicing medicine for over 33 years. With more than 18,700 patients treated over the course of her career, Dr. Frankwick soon recognized that conventional medicine often served as a temporary fix, failing to address the underlying causes of many chronic health conditions. With functional and integrative medicine, she focuses on identifying and treating the root causes of chronic illnesses.
Sue Minkoff, RN
Sue gained a B.S. in Medical Microbiology and in Nursing both from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. Sue worked in rehab and orthopedics in Israel from 1973-1974 and then moved to San Diego, CA where she worked in surgical intensive care and as a School Nurse for San Diego City Schools. In 1988, Sue founded Better Lifeplans Institute of California – San Diego. Sue founded Home Health Works nursing agency in 1992 and with Dr. David Minkoff she co-founded LifeWorks Wellness Center in 1997.
Karima Redouan, APRN
Karima is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with a background in geriatrics. She is a specialist in chronic health conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and respiratory problems. She also has received extensive training under Dr. David Minkoff on treating painful joint issues using Prolozone therapy.
Rose Tyler, APRN
Rose Tyler is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who works in collaboration with the team at LifeWorks Wellness Center to provide care to cancer patients. Rose worked for almost ten years as an RN before she became a Nurse Practitioner. Her work experience includes GI issues, cardiology as well as a wide variety of illnesses and health conditions.
Sue Morgan, APRN
Sue Morgan is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse with a background in women’s health. She graduated from the University of Louisville, Kentucky, with both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Nursing. Sue has specialized training in the LifeWorks Wellness Center cancer treatment protocol and works very closely with Dr. Minkoff administering comprehensive, holistic cancer care.
