You Can Recover from Long Haul COVID OOS
Tried Everything for Long COVID — But Still Not Getting Better?
Come to a medical center dedicated to helping patients recover from Long COVID.

How Have You Been Feeling?
Have you been struggling with symptoms for months — or even years?
You may be starting to realize that this is no way to live.
The fatigue.
The brain fog.
The physical overwhelm.
They’re real.
And to make matters worse, you may have been told your blood tests are normal and that doctors “can’t find anything wrong.”
You’re not imagining this — and you’re not alone.
So Why Is This Still Happening?
Even though the pandemic is years behind us, we continue to see patients arriving from across the country with elevated viral markers in their blood.
How is that possible after all this time?
In many people, the virus never fully clears from the body. A person may recover from the most severe stage of the infection but still have viral particles lingering in their system.
These viral fragments can trigger chronic low-grade inflammation and disrupt the immune system, leading to fatigue, brain fog, pain, and many other persistent symptoms.

Over the past year, we tested more than a thousand new patients and found that only two had completely cleared viral markers.
Even more surprising — most of these patients were not coming to us for “Long COVID.”
They were seeking help for chronic fatigue, brain fog, unexplained pain, recurring illness, or other persistent health problems.
In other words, there is a silent wave of post-viral illness affecting far more people than most realize.
And it may be why you’re here today.
Here’s the Good News….
We have treated hundreds of Long COVID patients and achieved consistently excellent outcomes.
Dr. David Minkoff, M.D., has spent the last 30 years helping thousands of patients recover from cancer, Lyme disease, infectious diseases, inflammation, autoimmune conditions, and other complex health problems by bringing leading-edge science into clinical practice.
Through decades of experience, he has developed a comprehensive Long COVID treatment protocol that is both highly effective and gentle on the body.
So why are patients traveling across the country to LifeWorks for treatment?
Because our internal patient outcome tracking shows that…
93% of our Long COVID patients who complete our program leave symptom-free.

The Truth About Long COVID
Symptoms of Long COVID
Some of the most commonly reported Long COVID symptoms are:
- fatigue
- brain fog – difficulty thinking and concentrating
- joint pain
- muscle pain
- headache
- depression
- chest pain
- shortness of breath
- heart palpitations
- cough
- intermittent fever
If you have been experiencing these symptoms for a while and they are not resolving, you should schedule an appointment with one of our COVID specialists.
Why Do I Still Have COVID Symptoms?
In some people, the body never fully clears the effects of the original virus. Small amounts of viral particles (pieces of the virus) can remain in the body and continue to trigger inflammation — ongoing immune system activation that can lead to fatigue, brain fog, pain, and other persistent symptoms.
In many Long COVID patients, we also see elevated levels of spike protein in the blood long after the original infection has passed. This may continue to stimulate the immune system and prevent the body from fully returning to normal.
COVID can also disrupt the immune system, making it easier for other dormant infections or underlying health imbalances to reappear. When this happens, the body may struggle to fully recover and symptoms can continue for months or even years.
In other words, Long COVID is a sign that the body has not fully recovered from the original infection.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why do some people continue to experience Long COVID symptoms?
In other words, Long COVID is often a sign that the body has not fully recovered from the original infection.
What can be done about Long COVID?
In many Long COVID patients, lingering viral particles and immune system disruption continue to drive inflammation in the body. When these underlying issues are identified and addressed, patients begin to see meaningful improvement.
As the body clears viral remnants and inflammation decreases, patients often experience improvements in fatigue, brain fog, pain, and other persistent symptoms. These changes can be monitored with lab testing and clinical evaluation.
Every person’s recovery timeline is different. Some patients improve quickly, while others require more time as the body gradually restores balance after months or even years of illness.
Consistently following the treatment plan is important for allowing the body to fully recover and reducing the risk of symptoms returning.
Patients report feeling clearer, stronger, and more energized as their treatment progresses.
Why should I consider traveling to LifeWorks for treatment?
Many Long COVID patients have already seen multiple doctors and tried standard approaches without finding real answers. At LifeWorks, we take a deeper, root-cause approach. Using advanced testing, we evaluate persistent viral activity (viral fragments remaining in the body), immune dysfunction (an immune system that isn’t regulating properly), inflammation, and other hidden stressors that may be preventing recovery.
Our program is structured and intensive, allowing patients to receive coordinated care and daily treatments over a focused period of time rather than scattered appointments over many months.
Patients travel to LifeWorks because of our reputation for helping people recover from complex chronic health conditions. Many of the therapies and diagnostic tools we use simply aren’t available in most areas. Our clinic includes more than 100 staff members and over 100,000 square feet of treatment facilities dedicated to supporting patient recovery.
Many patients also appreciate the opportunity to step away from their normal routine and focus fully on their health. Clearwater, Florida provides a calm and restorative environment where patients can dedicate time and energy to their recovery.

Do you have a clinic in my state?
We are rapidly expanding our Clearwater campus and have multiple buildings and facilities with over 100 staff and more than 100,000 square feet of facilities. However right now we do not have locations outside of Clearwater, FL
Do you take insurance?
We do not take private insurance or Medicare. Some insurance carriers may cover some of the medical services and lab tests which are ordered for you and we can provide receipts of services performed for you to submit to a third-party biller. Please be aware that many of the proprietary and cutting edge lab tests we perform are not covered by traditional health insurance. We do however accept Care Credit which is a popular financing option.
How much will treatment cost?
There’s no accurate way to estimate the costs of your healthcare program without seeing the doctor. However we understand patients want to get a sense for what they can expect and when you speak to the New Patient Scheduler they will review with you the cost of the initial consultation with the practitioner and they will give you a sense for the potential costs of testing and diagnostics based on your condition. Because each patient receives a very individually tailored program for their particular health condition, it is not possible to provide exact costs ahead of your appointment with the doctor.
What happens during my first visit?
At your first visit you will be at our clinic for 3 to 3½ hours.
You’ll fill out a detailed questionnaire covering your overall health, oral health, diet, exercise, and past medical history. The practitioner will review any recent tests, or scans.
Your one-hour visit will include a thorough evaluation, a discussion of your concerns, and identification of underlying problems. The practitioner will explain their findings and suggest treatment options.
Afterward, the Patient Services Coordinator will review the doctor’s program, answer your questions, and help schedule your follow-up visit.
What is expected of me once I start treatment?
Recovering from a serious or long-standing health condition requires time and commitment. While many patients begin noticing improvements during treatment, full recovery is a process that happens gradually as the body restores balance and function.
Patients who achieve the best outcomes typically make their health a priority during this time. Many people arrive after years of pushing through fatigue, stress, and illness while focusing on work, family, and other responsibilities. Treatment is an opportunity to shift that focus toward healing.
Whenever possible, we recommend arranging your schedule to allow time for recovery. Some patients take a few weeks away from work to fully focus on treatment, while others simply reduce their workload to allow more time for rest and healing.
Creating a calm and supportive environment can also make a meaningful difference. Following the treatment program, attending daily therapies, and maintaining open communication with your care team all help support the recovery process.
For patients traveling from out of town, this time is often viewed as an opportunity to step away from everyday stress and focus fully on restoring their health.
Do you offer tele-health visits?
We do not. All of our treatments and exams are done on-site at our office in our facility in Clearwater, FL. We use unique and proprietary examinations and treatments and these must be done in person. You may call our patient scheduler at any time to get any questions you have answered at 727-466-6789
Can you refer me to another doctor or clinic?
Unfortunately no. For over three decades, we’ve developed unique diagnostic and treatment protocols to address chronic health conditions. The treatment success relies on a precise diagnosis, a specific sequence of treatment steps, and the use of unique cutting-edge therapies administered by highly trained technicians.
We have not seen this approach used elsewhere and this is why we don’t refer patients to other facilities.
Do you offer lodging?
We not currently offer lodging. LifeWorks is an outpatient facility.
However because Clearwater, FL is a popular tourist destination, there are plentiful options available at various prices. You can easily find short-term rentals, Airbnb options, hotels, motels, and rooms for rent. If you need suggestions, speak with one of our helpful patient schedulers.
