Dr. Neena I. Van Luven, MD, IFMCP, FAAO
Dr. Neena (Iyer) Van Luven began her medical career at the University of Michigan Medical School in Ann Arbor, Michigan, where she graduated with her Doctor of Medicine (MD). She completed specialty training in Internal Medicine at the University of California, San Diego, and is board-certified through the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM).
Beyond these credentials, Dr. Van Luven also holds certification through the Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM), a rigorous 3-year training program for physicians. Functional Medicine provides a personalized approach that focuses on treating the root causes of illness rather than only treating symptoms.
Dr. Van Luven is also knowledgeable in treating a broad range of complex health conditions affecting the body’s internal systems, including the heart, lungs, digestive tract, nervous system, kidneys, and more. She is dedicated to helping her patients achieve optimal health using a comprehensive, holistic approach.
Dr. Van Luven also has a strong passion for and deep experience in integrative cancer care. She has supported hundreds of cancer patients and helped many patients achieve remission. Her patients appreciate her dedication and compassion—qualities that truly set her apart.
