LifeWorks Offers Alternative Solutions to Lyme Disease

Instances of Lyme disease are rapidly increasing, and the practitioners at LifeWorks Wellness Center are finding it to be the underlying cause of many of their patients’ conditions. Deer ticks typically carry the bacteria, which they spread to humans while feeding on their blood, but other insects including mosquitoes are also implicated.

LifeWorks’ co-founder and Medical Director, Dr. David Minkoff, explains, “The first symptom of Lyme disease can be a rash the shape of a bull’s-eye around the site of the tick bite but often this doesn’t occur and the person has no idea they have been infected. Symptoms such as fever, chills, fatigue, joint pain and neurological problems are often the conditions which bring patients to us, and it’s only after carrying out tests that we discover they have Lyme disease.”

Almost all Lyme patients suffer from some kind of environmental toxicity which is severely suppressing their immune system and allowing the symptoms to manifest. At LifeWorks, part of the treatment of Lyme disease includes rebuilding the immune response so that it can target the infection and handle it. Using natural antibiotics such as ozone, IV therapy, glutathione and more the body can be strengthened and the infection can be resolved.

If you know, or suspect, you have Lyme disease LifeWorks can offer you a solution. For more information click on Lyme Disease Solutions.

About Dr. Minkoff

In 1995, Dr. Minkoff's wife became ill and her physicians couldn't find what was wrong. Not accepting their "no hope" conclusion, Dr. Minkoff went on a search to help her which led him out of emergency medicine into complementary and alternative medicine to find the answers. In the process he gained expertise in Biological medicine, heavy metal detoxification, anti-aging medicine, hormone replacement therapy, functional medicine, energy medicine, neural and prolotherapy, homeopathy and optimum nutrition. He studied under the masters in each of these disciplines until he became an expert in his own right. The answers he found were soon in demand when others learned of his wife’s return to good health. In response to this, he and his wife, Sue Minkoff RN established LifeWorks Wellness Center in 1997 and it quickly became one of the most comprehensive complementary and alternative medicine clinics in the U.S.
