Peptide Thymosin Alpha-1

Do you receive constant infections, frequent colds, or feel chronically fatigued?

Do you receive constant infections, frequent colds, or feel chronically fatigued? You’ve visited every doctor, tried every medication, and no matter what, it seems that you just can’t stay healthy. Unfortunately, this is a huge sign of a weak immune system. A healthy immune system is meant to protect us from bad bacteria, pathogens, or antigens from entering our body. When it’s working properly, it can produce an effective defense mechanism against a plethora of health conditions such as influenza or cancer. Those who have weak immunity are placed at a much higher risk of developing severe chronic conditions such as autoimmune disease, reoccurring infections, bacterial buildup, and an accumulation of unhealthy cells due to a toxic environment. Overtime, these issues can come into fruition and cause very serious medical conditions. In other circumstances, sometimes people are born with autoimmune diseases such as type 1 diabetes or asthma that can contribute to a weakened immunity. Rather than addressing a weak immune system, most conventional doctors will prescribe medications to relieve the symptoms of the illness, however this will not resolve the issue at hand. At LifeWorks Wellness Center, we provide our patients with a multitude of alternative methods to boost the immune system including intravenous therapies, supplements, special diet plans and peptides. One peptide that is heavily recommended to support strong immunity is Thymosin Alpha – 1 (TA1).

What is Thymosin Alpha – 1?

In his book, “The Search for the Perfect Protein”, Dr. Minkoff of LifeWorks Wellness Center described his various experiences in dealing with patients who suffered from differing conditions but shared one thing in common: they were all protein malnourished. In order to function properly, the body needs the right amount of proteins within it. The purpose of peptides is to provide the body with missing proteins to release essential amino acids that the body can’t produce naturally. These proteins help augment specific bodily functions and provide antiaging, anticancer, or anti-inflammatory properties along with immunity boosts and enhanced energy levels. TA1 is a peptide derived from the Thymosin Fraction 5 that is normally found within the thymus gland (located behind the sternum and between the lungs). The thymus is only active prior to puberty, however it stimulates hormones that develop disease-fighting T cells. These cells protect the body against autoimmunity and guards the lymphatic system and the endocrine system.

The Benefits of Thymosin Alpha – 1

After one goes through puberty, the thymus gland will slowly shrink and be replaced with fat. Ultimately, this means that the body will lose its source of hormones to develop the immune system. As a result, peptide TA1 is meant to serve the purpose that the thymus gland once performed. This will help in providing advantages to those with weak immune systems or are suffering with autoimmune disease. These advantages include enhancing the functions of T cells. These T cells will help annihilate abnormal cells to prevent bacterial buildup or other infections from progressing. They will also provide a boost to immune cells for those suffering through disorders in which immune reactions are impaired such as cancer, lupus, or rheumatoid arthritis. Furthermore, the peptide is effective in impeding tumor growth and protecting the body from oxidative damage. Those taking this peptide will eventually notice their regular illnesses gradually dwindle or stop completely.

Strengthening Immunity at LifeWorks

Having a strong immune system is a significant key to staying healthy, which is why vitamins and minerals are always encouraged by all types of medical professionals. A healthy immune system can properly detect the difference between good and bad bacteria within the body and block off any unwanted pathogens. Those with autoimmunity or weak systems lack this ability, thus causing them to garner more infections and become sick more often. A simple change in lifestyle, treatments and peptide use can help to boost one’s immunity to sickness.  If you or someone that you know is experiencing frequent illnesses or has an autoimmune disease, please call to schedule an appointment at 727-466-6789.
