The AOD 9604 Peptide

AOD 9604 is an injectable peptide containing anti-obesity properties and is a modified fragment of the human growth hormone (HGH).

Has the issue of weight been an ongoing problem in your life? You’ve tried everything and no matter what, it seems that the fat won’t burn off as quickly as you would like it to. Losing weight is not an easy feat, especially for those with inherited obesity or underlying conditions that cause weight gain. Not to mention, if one’s weight continues to follow this pattern, they are at risk of developing type 2 diabetes or serious heart conditions. So, what is the next step when it seems that all diets, exercises and medications are just not working? Believe it or not, this problem just might be solved with a single peptide that focuses solely on weight loss for those suffering with obesity.

For those unaware, peptides are amino acids that are normally developed within our system. Amino acids are small compounds that combine to formulate proteins in the body, and there are particular amino acids that are designed to augment certain bodily functions.  At LifeWorks Wellness Center, if patients are lacking in a certain amino acid or are protein malnourished, we recommend certain supplements that contain peptides and amino acids to hone in on their specific issues. When it comes to obesity and weight loss, one peptide that we suggest to patients is called AOD 9604.

What is AOD 9604?

AOD 9604 is an injectable peptide containing anti-obesity properties and is a modified fragment of the human growth hormone (HGH). The injections stimulate the pituitary gland (a small bean-shaped gland located at the base of the brain, behind the nose and between the ears) and mimics the way natural growth hormones regulate fat metabolism. AOD 9604 is one of the few peptides that have been approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and has proven to provide miraculous results among those who have taken it for fat reduction.

The Benefits of AOD 9604

The main purpose of peptide AOD 9604 is to stimulate lipolysis. Lipolysis is the process in which energy from fat is obtained and triglycerides are broken down into glycerol and fatty acids within the cytoplasm of cells (1). Additionally, the peptide also assists in inhibiting lipogenesis, which is a biosynthesis of converting nonfat food into body fat with fatty acids and triglycerides from glucose. With both of these benefits combined, this speeds up the fat-burning process, perks up anabolism, and limits catabolic effects, thus helping obese individuals to lose weight without affecting blood sugar levels.

Do I Have To Worry About Dieting?

For better results, it’s important that patients remain on a diet plan while taking AOD 9604. At LifeWorks Wellness Center, we recommend two specific diets: the Paleo Diet (a diet that eliminates all foods made from processed chemicals) and the Ketogenic Diet (a low carb, high fat diet that helps the body to burn body fat for energy). Prior to receiving this peptide, patients will be required to speak to a LifeWorks practitioner to determine which diet plan would be beneficial to their health. Along with either of these diets, the patient will also be required to intermittent fast and limit themselves to 1,000-1,200 calories per day.
