How Does a FLOWPresso Treatment Work?
Receiving a FLOWPresso treatment feels like receiving many hugs; patients call it the hug-suit!
You undertake the treatment fully clothed. We recommend loose, comfortable cotton clothing.
The FLOWPresso chambers are gently connected to the arms, abdomen, and legs with velcro. Tubes attached to each section allow each chamber to inflate and deflate.
FLOWpresso delivers cyclic compression to different areas of the body. Each chamber inflates sequentially before its predecessor completely deflates. This creates a flow in the body that enhances circulation. The sequence and pressure can be customized depending on the treatment goal and objectives.
Once the treatment starts, you will feel a gentle squeezing sensation as the air chambers inflate and deflate, moving from your feet towards your torso and arms.
The deep compression feels fantastic. It’s like being hugged; it can release feel-good hormones that benefit the healing process and lead to a better attitude and mood. Deep relaxation encourages the body to break out of the fight or flight response.
