1. Schedule Your In-Person Consultation

Office visit

Our natural health clinic is world-renown and we see patients from all over the world and book up quickly. For this reason, be prepared to pre-pay for your initial consultation at the time of scheduling to secure and guarantee an appointment.

2. Get to the Clinic

In order to become a patient, your first appointment with a LifeWorks’ practitioner must be done in person at our clinic in Clearwater, Florida. This cannot be done by phone, it must be done in-person.

3. Arrive 30 minutes early for your Appointment. Here’s Why…

The doctor is usually booked back to back with patients who are coming from out of town and from other parts of the world, so it’s important that we be mindful of people’s time. If a patient is late, it can set off a chain of events that affects every other patient and could make it so that patients later in the day miss their appointments entirely.  If you arrive so late, that even a shorter appointment isn’t a viable option, you will unfortunately forfeit your initial consulation fee and would be required to pay for another appointment. We are unable to refund your original appointment fee.

So our policy is that you will be scheduled with the doctor during a particular time slot. If you are late for your appointment, you will diminish the amount of time the doctor gets to spend with you and may not receive your full hour appointment. The takeaway: plan to arrive 30 minutes early for your appointment.

4. Plan To Be At Our Clinic For 3.5 Hrs In Total On First Appointment.

Arrive earlyAt your first visit you will be at our clinic for 3 to 3½ hours. This allows sufficient time for your initial paperwork and intake forms, triage to be completed, a one hour appointment with the practitioner, time afterwards to review your program with the service consultant and time for any diagnostic or lab testing, if ordered and desired.

5. What Happens During Your First Visit

You will fill out a very comprehensive questionnaire about every aspect of your health, from current issues, to the state of your oral health, your diet and exercise routine, previous health problems and surgeries. This in-depth history will be reviewed by your practitioner when you first meet, and will provide them with a good overall picture of your state of health. It may also help indicate areas of potential underlying causes of illnesses you may have.

Your visit with the practitioner will take about an hour which allows them to conduct a really thorough evaluation. They will discuss the reasons for your visit and will then set about identifying the potential underlying cause(s) of your problems.

When the evaluation is complete, your practitioner will explain their findings and describe how they can be handled using a variety of our treatment regimens and protocols.

When your office visit with the doctor is complete, the Patient Services Coordinator will review the doctor’s program with you, answer any questions you may have and direct you to the Scheduler to schedule your follow–up visit.

6. You will be receiving your treatments at our outpatient Clearwater, FL facility

Clearwater

Getting Well Requires Dedication & Focus

If you have been suffering from a chronic health condition, despite your best efforts and the efforts of other doctors, it is important to go into your healing journey with realistic expectations and realize that there are no instant, magical, quick fixes.

Chronic health conditions often have underlying causes that have been festering for years, which one day finally culminate in an all-out health emergency.

Recovering from such a health condition requires a firm commitment to yourself and a decision to get well no matter what it takes. Many patients have realized that they have been taking care of everyone and everything else but neglecting themselves.

Patients who recover the best are those who realize their health treatment must be a top priority. These patients make a firm commitment to overcome any obstacles that could get in the way of getting well.

During your health treatment program, we highly recommend trying to arrange your life so that you can focus on your healing as much as possible. If your life has been chaotic, extremely stressful, or emotionally draining, getting well under all that pressure will be more challenging.

We recommend trying to arrange an entire week or two off of work or obligations, if possible, so you can use that time to reset your life, create new healthy patterns, and focus on your treatments, nutrition, and recovery. If that’s not entirely possible, try to arrange a reduced schedule, working shorter days or fewer days to give you more time to focus on healing.

The more you can do to create a calm, healing head-space for yourself, the better.

Even though our treatments seem miraculous at times, your good health depends on sticking to your health program, receiving your daily treatments, communicating with your practitioners, and being supervised through your treatment program.

Viewing your treatment program as a time to finally take care of yourself is helpful. You can dive back into a full schedule and life in a few short months. But during your healing journey, nothing is more important than your good health!

If you’re coming from out of town, consider it the most valuable vacation you’ll ever take—a time to refocus on yourself so you can get well.

7. We Do Not Refer Patients to Other Facilities… Here’s Why

For over two decades we have devised and used unique diagnostic and treatment protocols as well as laboratory testing that allows us to locate and treat the root causes of many chronic health conditions. We have learned that it takes a unique approach and concerted supervised effort, with highly trained technicians to deal with difficult chronic conditions. We’re extremely proud of all the positive results we achieve. Our approach and results hinge on starting with a precise and accurate diagnosis, the application of a very precise sequence of steps, administered and followed precisely, as well as the integration of any number of cutting edge therapies and treatments that are delivered at our location. For this reason, we are unable to refer patients to any other medical facilities in the US.

8. Costs & Length of Treatment Programs

There’s no accurate way to estimate the costs of your healthcare program without seeing the doctor. However we understand patients want to get a sense for what they can expect and when you speak to the New Patient Scheduler they will review with you the cost of the initial consultation with the practitioner and they will give you a sense for the potential costs of testing and diagnostics. Because each patient receives a very individually tailored program for their particular health condition, it is not possible to provide exact costs ahead of your appointment with the doctor.

9. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

Rescheduling
If you are unable to make your appointment, you must provide (3) three business days’ notice in order to have the option to reschedule your appointment without forfeiting the the initial consultation fee that was paid to secure the appointment. With three business days’ notice, we will happily reschedule your appointment.

To reschedule your appointment, you must call in and speak with a New Patient Scheduler. We do not allow rescheduling over email or website messages.

Cancelling Your Appointment
Due to the demand to see the doctors and the fact their time is very valuable, if you reserve an appointment and later decide to cancel it, your initial consulation fee will not be refunded.

10. We Do Not Accept Insurance or Medicare

We do not accept insurance or Medicare. Some insurance carriers may cover some of the medical services and lab tests which are ordered for you and we can provide receipts of services performed for you to submit to a third-party biller. Please be aware that many of the proprietary and cutting edge lab tests we perform are not covered by traditional health insurance.

We do accept Care Credit and you can apply directly here
