Have you ever considered that you might have a bunch of parasites living in your gut?
Well chances are you do. On stool analyses we find them all the time. It’s a common cause of inflammation in the body and many people with high CRP (C reactive protein, a risk factor for cardiovascular disease) have this test at high levels because of gut inflammation.
On nearly all patients we do this comprehensive stool test to find out if there is anything going on like this, so we can address it and do a de-worm job.
When done right it is very effective and really can make a difference in how you feel and in your future health.
I hope you're not reading this during lunch - and if it took your appetite away - my apologies.
The best way to find out about this is to come in for a full check up and get the stool test as a part of the evaluation.
I can guarantee you will be happy that you did.
Have a great week,
Dr. David I Minkoff, M.D.

The Success of Prolozone: Case Studies at our Clinic
By Jennifer Baer, ARNP
In a recent newsletter I discussed the effectiveness and the ease of Prolozone and now I will do a brief reiteration.
Chronic pain is caused by poor circulation to joints and ligaments, usually caused by aging or trauma. A decrease in circulation means less oxygen utilization. Less oxygen utilization increases pain and a decrease in tendon and ligament repair. The cells of the injured areas will repair if they have what is needed. They need an adequate amount of stem cells and blast cells for the repair, adequate amino acids and adequate oxygen utilization.
Prolozone supports the body in repair and regeneration.” It is a homeopathic, nutrient, proliferant, oxygen injection technique,” according to Dr. Frank Shallenbeger, the creator of this technique. The key ingredients are Procaine, which re-polarize injured cell membranes and improves circulation, and homeopathics which reduce inflammation and edema, the proliferants which stimulate the growth factor production and the ozone stimulates circulation.
This technique can help to heal most chronic injuries and degenerative processes. Conditions that respond to Prolozone are essentially anything associated with pain. Chronic neck pain, chronic back pain, rotator cuff injuries, degenerative and arthritic hips and knees, degenerative discs, plantar fasciitis, carpel tunnel syndrome, TMJ, sciatica, heel spurs, neuromas, tennis elbow, sinus, infections, pelvic disorders, dental infections, post-surgery, non-union fractures sports injuries, pelvic floor syndrome.
Prolozone corrects the pathology of the disorder and about 80% of chronic pain sufferers become pain free, permanently.
I would like to present a few case studies:
This is a 34-year old female. She came to me with lower back pain and neck pain due to overuse. She had a desk job which made her symptoms worse. After the first injection. for one month, she states she had complete 100% resolution of symptoms. She increased activity after one month, the symptoms exacerbated. I proceeded to follow up with injections to her lower back and neck with improvement after each round of injections. With the last set of injections, the neck and back were pain free for about 4 weeks but overall, were steadily improving.
A 58-year old male. I performed Prolozone on his knee. At the time I saw him, he was unable to exercise due to the pain. After one prolozone, his knee pain improved. After 5 Prolozones to his knee, he was able to walk again as part of his exercise regimen.
A 39-year old female who had pain to her neck, lower back and knees. She had gained weight due to inablility to exercise because of the pain. With Prolozone she made steady, slow progress after 10 sessions, is walking now 3 miles a day, losing weight and her pain is 75% improved.
These patients chose Prolozone, this safe, effective modality for treating pain with great success!!!
