Message from Dr. Minkoff

Greetings all!

I recently got a request from a friend for help.

This friend wants health, but likes Doritos and deep fried fish, no exercise, and high sugar at every meal.

I felt a little lost at what to tell her.

Here’s what I said:

First thing is to put the basics in hard with no compromise for 8 weeks.

  1. Poop every day. Use mag citrate as needed.
  2. Eat only organic, no processed or packaged food, Organic Paleo only. Meat, fish, eggs, fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds. Olive oil and butter are ok. Aim for 1 gram of protein per pound of lean body weight per day. Perfect Amino counts as 30 grams of protein per ten tablets.
  3. Drink lots of clean water.
  4. Do some form of exercise, walking, yoga, outside in the sun, if possible, daily for at least 30 minutes.  Add sauna 3-4 times a week if available. Epsom salt baths nightly for 30 minutes.
  5. BodyHealth supplements: Perfect Amino, multi, fish oil, digest, probiotic, Gut Defense, greens, reds, metal free.
  6. Do Wim Hof breathing and cold challenge every day on a gradient she can take. See his videos on YouTube.
  7. Find a reason to live and be well.  Write it down and every morning figure out a way that day to do something that moves that forward.
  8. Keep a daily journal and note the challenges and wins every day. While it may not be apparent, we are winning or losing based on what we have created. Karma is real, but even more important, one can change and improve their life. If one concludes that their predicament is somebody else’s fault, and they are a victim, then that task may be impossible.  You were there, you did it, move on. Learn and energize yourself to do better. There are no perfect humans, we all err, we can recover and do better. It’s not in the lofty thoughts, it’s in the everyday doing. This list of 8 will start a path of right doing.
  9. Without putting in the discipline and habit of doing these things one can’t be helped.  That is a truth that can’t be overcome.

So, get going. Good luck. I know you can do this.

Hope this helps.

Have a great week.
