Cystitis is inflammation of the bladder and can originate from sexual or non-sexual stimuli. When caused by sexual activity, it’s called Honeymoon Cystitis (or “honeymoon disease”). The symptoms are the same as cystitis when triggered by something other than sex: burning sensation when peeing as well as the frequent urge to go to the bathroom.
