In this lyme testimonial - back to golfing and loving life.

My Lyme Testimonial

I wanted to briefly share my story with you and my experience with Lifeworks.

My story began in May 2022.

I was playing golf and got bitten by a tick. I didn’t think much about it as I’ve been a hunter my whole life and never had an issue with tick bites.

Two weeks later I developed a bullseye rash, and I sent a picture to my primary in Chattanooga Tennessee.

He ordered two weeks of doxy and assumed it would work.

Six weeks later I still felt like I had the flu, so I went to a Holistic doctor that I had used before in Franklin Tennessee.

He ordered 12 more weeks of doxy and amoxicillin.

At the end of 12 weeks, I still felt horrible, and I reached out to a holistic doctor in Chattanooga Tennessee.

After 8 more months of antibiotics, detox, full moon detoxes, daily HBOT’s , red light therapy, acupuncture and cryotherapy I was basically bed ridden.

In May of 2023 I stumbled on the documentary “Root Cause”.

I thought WOW!

Three years prior I had a snowmobile accident that damaged my lower front teeth roots and was told by several dentists to get a root canal.

I kept putting that off as I’ve been holistic for several years and my oldest daughter had told me several bad things about them.

Nevertheless, my doctor in Chattanooga told me my damaged teeth made no difference in healing my Lyme.

After watching Root Cause I started researching Lyme doctors.

I talked with a doctor in New York, a doctor in Naples, a doctor in Redwood City California and LifeWorks.

After visiting Dr. Iyer in May 2023, I was impressed but still apprehensive.

I agreed to have the bloodwork done and see what happened next.

I returned in July and met again with Dr. Iyer. I guess I wanted to be sold one more time.

She told me that if I would have had the tooth damage corrected, I would have been cured by the antibiotics.

No other doctor had told me that!

Really? …I asked her why she was there, at Lifeworks?

Why aren’t you practicing real medicine? Her humble answer left me speechless.

She’s the reason I was sold on Lifeworks.

I started treatments on August 9, 2023, and was very excited about it, but still reserved in my commitment to Lifeworks. Communication was not the best, but I realized that everyone is very busy.

The first 3-4 weeks were hard, and they got harder as the weeks progressed but finally, in November, I started feeling better.

As of today, I’m feeling better than I’ve felt in years.

I’m enjoying playing with my grandkids, lifting weights again, swinging a golf club and living life. I’ve still got some small issues but overall, it’s wonderful.

I want you to know Tamora, how much I appreciate you and your concern during the time of my blood clots. I truly didn’t expect a text from you while I was in the hospital.

What’s the old saying? “people don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care”.

There are no words to express the love I have for everyone on the IV Team. Al, Wanda, Taylor, Mahayla, Carlee and of course the irreplaceable Bree. Love you guys!

Also the ladies at 1221 are so sweet and so, so great at what they do. Amy, Lorraine, Charlotte, Savi Jo, thank y’all so much! And what would I have done without Megan? Such a wonderful group!

If you need to get cheered up just look for Alicia anytime. I believe she can do anything you ask and do it with a smile.

Brooke, you still look like my youngest daughter’s best friend. You’re great!

I cannot forget Daiquiri; her attitude is awesome and everyone else at the front desk is so nice and sweet.

Katie & Ashley, thank you for putting up with my weird and ever-changing schedule.

Everyone at Lifeworks is awesome! Love you guys.

In a nutshell you guys are wonderful. Thank you so very much for giving me my life back.

Regards, Randy
